A study led by University of California, San Diego (UCSD), scientists has provided new evidence to support their suggestion that elevated levels of an enzyme called phosphoglycerate dehydrogenase (PHGDH) in the blood of older adults could be an early warning sign of Alzheimer’s disease (AD).
